RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and establish automation strategy and process
• Help design and deliver the overall testing methodology
• Build test automation solutions from scratch
• Participate in discovery phases of new projects (prepare PoCs, research tools and technologies and etc.)
• Streamline Continues Integration initiatives in test automation
• Take active part in the building of the DevOps/CI/CD architecture and activities
• Conduct knowledge transfer on the build solution
• Produce reports on system quality and test metrics

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Expert in building test automation solutions from scratch
• Test strategy definition
• Tool selection
• Implement Proof of Concept
• Design and implementation
• CI pipeline integration
• Ability to perceive Product Architecture
• Broad awareness of testing approaches, practices and techniques
• Strong knowledge of Desktop application automation testing
• Strong knowledge of at least one OOP language – Java, C#, JavaScript, Python or other (Java and C# is an advantage)
• Expertise in test automation tools (such as JUnit, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, SoapUI, etc.)
• Experience with Docker and microservices
• Strong understanding of web services testing practices
• Strong knowledge of UI and API automation testing
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Autonomous with using version control tools (GIT/TFS/SVN)
• Experience with different bug tracking systems like JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps and others
• Work experience with Jenkins, AzureDevOps,Github Actions or similar CI tool
• Capability to work in a complex or distributed environment
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Proven ability to coach team members
• Fluent English – written and spoken
• Willingness to travel

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience with Test Complete, Ranorex or other commercial tools for Desktop application automation testing
• Experience with BDD automation testing frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity BDD, SpecFlow)
• Experience with Mobile testing (manual and automated)
• Test data generation management experience
