    emerchantpay is a leading online, mobile and POS payment service provider. We help eCommerce businesses of all sizes and sectors accept payments via multiple customer touchpoints. Designed to increase conversion, our offering includes robust payment processing technology, coupled with popular alternative payment methods and a range of acquiring services. We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team. They will be working with IT product management and business stakeholders to ensure solutions effectively address corresponding needs. In this highly collaborative position, Product Owner will strategize the best approaches to help move projects from concept to successful rollout on the fintech market.     Responsibilities

    • Prioritizing development team backlog based on project/application understanding and imminent business need
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of changing business requests for all IT products, business owners, and departments supported
    • Researching and developing project overview statements
    • Defining up-to-date product roadmaps aligning with an evolving marketplace, technical trends, and efficiencies
    • Working closely with the Project Management Office to ensure project requests are accurately represented and the product’s future direction is understood
    • Researching and documenting new project ideas
    • updating changing priorities accordingly
    • Logging user feedback and responding in a timely manner
    • Coordinating and facilitating end-user/business testing
    • Providing and recording user story details
    • Working as a point of contact to translate business requests into technical requests
    • Presenting new product enhancements and identifying areas for improvement
    • Serving as an IT liaison between the business and technology

    Requirements

    • Deep understanding and knowledge of POS transaction flows and POS terminal technologies
    • 2+ years of hands-on business experience as a product owner
    • You’re comfortable communicating with business stakeholders, Engineering, UX and Analytics teams at all levels
    • Technical knowledge and skill to speak authoritatively on the technical aspects of payment method integrations
    • Can-do attitude and enthusiasm to overcome obstacles and get the job done, even if it means solving problems outside of your defined role Proficient in written and spoken English
    • Education in BA/BS related field – Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
    • Experience with different aspects of payment provider integrations: payment processing, card acquirers, online banking, alternative payment methods
