Senior Manual QA Engineer with SQL

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and regression testing for web-based application (mainly its reporting feature)
• Development and execution of manual test scenarios and scripts
• Testing of new features
• Regression testing of existing features
• Verification of resolved issues
• Performing other related duties as required and assigned
• Develop and execute test plans and manual test cases
• Troubleshoot found problems, investigate root causes, accurately report, and track defects
• Find areas of improvement giving ideas for automated or optimized solutions
• Create, verify, and manage tickets in Jira
• Keep QA documentation up to date in Confluence and Jira (Xray)
• Use various testing techniques to verify features and fixes are correctly implemented

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of professional experience as a QA
• Experience in querying databases
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with API testing (experience with Postman or similar tool)
• Experience in working with collaboration tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies
• Very good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Comfortable with both UI and backend testing
• Good written and spoken English
• Experience with CI/CD systems & Jenkins is an advantage
• University degree in Computer Science or other technical education is an advantage
• Certification of ISTQB is an advantage
