Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for high-performance environments
• Contribute to schema design, indexing strategies, and query performance improvements
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
• Monitor database health and performance metrics; assist in diagnosing and resolving issues
• Work with large-scale datasets, applying best practices for partitioning and data organization
• Collaborate with backend developers, data analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in database development
• Maintain clear technical documentation of database architecture and processes
• Contribute to automation of operational and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Database Developer
• Strong experience with relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Solid knowledge of SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience working with large datasets and performance-sensitive systems
• Understanding of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
