About the role

DevOps Engineer applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues within established guidelines and recommends proper alternatives, works on problems of moderate complexity and scope. Works closely with Software Engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems. Engaged in every step of the process – development, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Works in close collaboration with other teams and is under direct supervision by the team management.

Daily challenges

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage and configure Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and delivery workflows
• Work with Source Code Management (SCM) tools (e.g., Git) to support version control and collaboration
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications in Kubernetes environments, including basic configuration and troubleshooting
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve delivery processes and system reliability
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues related to deployments and infrastructure
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes and tools

eXperience and skills required

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related area of study or equivalent professional experience in the IT field
• 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps and System Administration
• Good technical knowledge in troubleshooting, maintenance, and ability to scope multiple deliverables across several technologies
• Mastery in at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least two major technology areas
• Language: Spanish + English
• Tech stack: Azure & AWS, tools in use: jenkins + bitbucket + Github actions
• Able to pro-actively learn new technology, processes, or other skills
• Possess time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks, problems, and requests when necessary.
