About the role

We are looking for a Private Cloud Dedicated Data Owner for OASIS.

In this role, you will be accountable for end-to-end ownership of Private Cloud Dedicated (PCD) platform knowledge data within the OASIS program. This is a technical, SME-driven role requiring deep understanding of private cloud platforms to ensure that platform/knowledge data accurately reflects real infrastructure state.

You will be the central collector/validator and creator of Knowledge artifacts (documents, SLAs, …) within the PCD area, and be responsible for correct upload and maintenance of these into central repositories like the OASIS CMS, internal KB repositories, etc.

You will define data governance, standards, and data models across private cloud environments, enabling high-quality, consistent, and actionable data to support transformation, lifecycle management, compliance, and operational decision-making.

You will act as the primary interface between Product Owner, SMEs, Technical Leads, delivery teams, and leadership to ensure trusted data foundations across all accounts.

Daily challenges

• Own and manage PCD platform & knowledge data (inventory, configuration, capacity, lifecycle, compliance, SLA, …) across environments
• Define and enforce technical data models, standards, and ownership aligned with platform architecture
• Ensure data & knowledge accuracy, completeness, and consistency based on real platform state and engineering inputs
• Drive lifecycle (EOS/EOL/EOM), security, and compliance visibility through structured and validated data
• Collaborate with SMEs, engineering, and operations teams to ensure proper data sources, integrations, and controls
• Drive improvements in data collection, validation, reconciliation, and automation mechanisms
• Provide reliable data foundation for service governance, risk management, and transformation initiatives

eXperience and skills required

• Private Cloud Platform Expertise — Strong hands-on and architectural understanding of enterprise private cloud platforms (VMware, Nutanix), including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers
• Data Ownership & Technical Data Modeling — Ability to define and own platform data models (inventory, configuration, capacity, lifecycle, compliance) based on deep understanding of infrastructure and service architecture
• Lifecycle & Configuration Management — Strong understanding of platform lifecycle (EOS/EOL/EOM), patching, configuration standards, and CMDB/data accuracy in large-scale environments
• Data Quality & Control Frameworks — Proven experience ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, validation, and audit readiness across multiple delivery units and accounts
• Experience — 8+ years in private cloud / infrastructure engineering or operations, with exposure to global delivery and transformation programs
• Continuous Improvement & Automation — Ability to drive improvements in data collection, integration, and control mechanisms (automation-first mindset)
• Stakeholder Management & Governance — Strong collaboration with SMEs, engineering, operations, and leadership to enforce data standards and support governance at scale
