About the team:

Our team works on diverse and impactful use cases, such as pricing optimization, propensity-to-buy models, campaign automation and more. We are also actively exploring the field of modern AI and already have several generative-AI bots in production — we are the first bank in Bulgaria to achieve this!

Mid/Senior ML Engineer (DS) for Advanced Analytics Solutions Team

As part of our team, you will:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for various business use cases.
• Own the entire lifecycle of models, from research and development to production and maintenance.
• Design and automate model development lifecycles to reduce time-to-production and ensure scalability.
• Conduct proof-of-concept analysis to assess the feasibility of machine learning solutions for new business challenges.
• Participate in the development of LLM AI Agents and RAG Bots.

We’re looking for candidates with:

• 3+ years / 2+ years for Senior / Middle of hands-on experience in Machine Learning.
• A solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, machine learning algorithms, metrics, and loss functions.
• Advanced expertise in Python and its ML ecosystem (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, CatBoost, Seaborn, Matplotlib, etc.).
• Strong skills in SQL and Spark, including advanced features like complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and scalable Python code.
• Verbal and written English proficiency at Upper Intermediate level or above.

While not required, the following will make you stand out:

• Experience with Azure Databricks, MLflow, and Airflow for model development and deployment.
• Keen interest in cutting-edge AI fields such as LLM RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic applications.
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras for future projects.
