Mid/Senior Data Engineer – Data Delivery

Brief overview of the role

The Data Engineer is responsible for building data pipelines to bring together information from different source systems. The Data Engineer integrates, consolidates and structures data for use in analytical solutions. They aim is to make data easily accessible and to optimize organization’s data ecosystem.

Key areas of responsibility

• Data model evolution: Understand business requirements and translate them into logical/physical data models.
• Data delivery: Develop optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide range of data sources using (e.g. SQL, ODI, Azure Data Factory).
• Improve data quality: Implement data quality controls including automation of monitoring dashboards.
• Analytical data provisioning: Deliver data to provide insights for the business using business intelligence tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Squad role: Participate in strategic projects sponsored by top management and delivered according to modern agile methodology principles.

You are our ideal candidate, if you have:

•  Practical knowledge of SQL, ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), Azure Data Factory or other ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience as data miner, business/data analyst or data engineer in a financial or technological company.
• Experience with Cloud based solutions (Azure, Databricks) is strong advantage
• Good understanding of enterprise architecture and modelling techniques
• Ability to work in agile mode as part of cooperative, result oriented team
