Front-End Developer

We are looking for talents, that will become part of this great team as a Front-End developer.

You are the ideal Front-End candidate, if you have:

• 2-3 years of Practical experience using web related technologies.
• A degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in Web development (HTML5/ CSS3/ JavaScript).
• Strong knowledge and previous experience in vanilla JavaScript and preferably Svelte (or other frameworks like React/Next or Angular).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and async programming.
• Creativity, problem solving skills and critical thinking to optimally implement new features and refactor existing code.
• Familiarity with Node JS, npm, preferably vite as a build tool/bundler.
• Familiarity with Vitest/Playwright/Storybook is a plus.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git).
• Good working level English.

Your tasks in the team:

• Writing clean and well structured HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
• Developing new user-facing features using Svelte 5 / Sveltekit as a frontend framework.
• Previous experience with Svelte is a big plus, but experience with other frameworks like React or Angular would be sufficient.
• Building reusable components / front-end libraries for future use and optimizing components for maximum performance and accessibility according to web standards and guidelines.
• Testing and troubleshooting front-end code to identify and fix issues and bugs.
• Using version control systems like Git to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and maintain a clean and organized codebase.
• Communicating closely with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces, communicating with back-end developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with the overall project.
• Understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
• Keeping up with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
