Our partner is one of the leading companies in the field of logistics and transportation. Our role is to assist them in creating a state-of-the-art digital solution for transportation management – developing brand new features and assisting with the existing ones, so we need your expertise and leadership abilities in the field of JAVA Engineering.

About you:

• A person who delivers the outcome from a task that is not defined at all and does so without any help. Help means that he/she owns the task and orientates about whom to ask if there is a need for more info in order the task to be completed.
• Has full ownership and responsibility for the task and can deliver it
• Write clean, maintainable, and readable code, according to the team coding standards
• Think a lot about API design, backward compatibility, and architecture conformance
• Write a lot of unit tests
• Participate in code reviews and give improvement suggestions.

Requirements:

• Passion and preference for JAVA
• Solid experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with frontend tools such as – RCP Client, WebUI (based on JHipster)
• PostgreSQL
• Feeling comfortable with using GitLab in terms of development infrastructure
• Very good communication skills
• Fluent English – both written and verbal
• Previous experience in successfully leading teams to successful completion of complex software projects
• Love for challenging tasks with complex business scenarios and taking on responsibilities
• To be proactively seeking improvements
• To be a team player

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of ClearBox
• Lobster Data
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Loki or Grafana
