    The AI4IT Development Squad Lead leads an agile development team focused on designing and delivering AI-driven solutions that enhance IT operations, improve service quality, and increase productivity across the IT organization.

    This role combines hands-on technical expertise, agile leadership, and innovation to develop AI capabilities that automate IT processes, optimize operations, and support intelligent decision-making across the IT landscape.

    The AI4IT Squad Lead plays a key role in accelerating the adoption of AI within IT by transforming traditional IT processes into AI-enabled, automated, and predictive services.

    This position requires 40–50% travel to deliver solutions, facilitate workshops, and drive AI initiatives.

    Lead AI Development for IT Use Cases

    • Design and deliver AI-driven solutions that improve IT operations and services
    • Develop AI capabilities such as intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI assistants for IT teams
    • Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready.

    Manage the Agile Development Squad

    • Lead and coordinate an agile AI development squad
    • Plan and prioritize the squad backlog together with product owners and IT stakeholders
    • Ensure timely delivery of AI solutions through sprint-based development.

    Drive IT Automation and Productivity

    • Identify opportunities to automate manual IT processes using AI
    • Implement AI solutions to reduce incident resolution times and improve service efficiency
    • Contribute to the transformation of IT operations towards intelligent automation.

    Provide Technical Leadership in Microsoft Foundry and if possible also within ServiceNow

    • Define development standards, architecture guidelines together with Enterprise Architecture, and engineering practices for AI solutions
    • Review code and mentor developers and AI engineers
    • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security requirements.

    Collaborate with IT and Business Stakeholders

    • Work closely with IT service owners, platform teams, and architects
    • Translate operational challenges into AI-driven solutions
    • Communicate progress, outcomes, and value of AI initiatives.

    Promote Innovation and Experimentation

    • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify relevant use cases
    • Prototype new solutions and validate their business value
    • Encourage an entrepreneurial and solution-driven mindset within the team.

    Measure Value and Impact

    • Track the impact of AI solutions on IT productivity and efficiency.
    • Monitor KPIs such as automation rate, ticket reduction, and incident resolution improvements.
    • Continuously optimize AI solutions based on operational results

     

    An experience that matters: your skills

     

    • University degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
    • Minimum 8 years of experience leading software development teams, including 4–6 years in AI solution development using Microsoft Foundry
    • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive AI-led transformation within the IT organization
    • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior leadership
    • Experience facilitating AI workshops and a consulting mindset to support idea generation and initiative development
    • Relevant certifications in AI / Machine Learning
    • Certifications or proven experience in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
    • Fluency in English
    • Willingness and ability to travel 40–50%
