    For one of our projects, we’re looking for a Senior Java Developer with Terraform

     

    Position Overview

    The project centers around building a comprehensive Data Platform designed to drive strategic insights for stakeholders within the music industry. This platform focuses on entity resolution, royalty forecasting, and artist performance tracking, offering critical tools for managing and optimizing music catalog data, royalty calculations, and talent identification.

    We are looking for an Engineer to implement our Data Platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of music publishing, empowering innovation, enhancing business efficiency, and catalyzing revenue generation opportunities through the strategic use of data, AI, scalable tooling, and self-service analytics.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements, priorities, and goals, ensuring seamless integration of business needs into the platform
    • Apply new knowledge and skills to enhance project outcomes, continuously contributing to team objectives with innovative solutions
    • Propose new ideas and process improvements that optimize workflows and benefit both the team and the company
    • Commit to continuous learning by staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve personal performance and the overall platform development

     

    Requirements

    • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
    • Expertise writing Automated Tests
    • Expertise monitoring, automated alerting of services
    • Experience writing and optimizing ETL pipelines
    • Cloud computing experience, especially around ETL, orchestration, and permissions
    • Expertise in at least one OOP language out of Java, Scala
    • Experience writing SQL

     

    Nice to Have

    • Docker, Kubernetes
    • Jupyter, DBT
    • AWS
    • Kafka
    • BI tools such as Tableau/Quicksight
    • Experience with Python web scraping tools
