*This position is fully remote only for employment in Bulgaria. However, people can also work in one of our offices in Sofia or Varna if they prefer to.

For one of our projects, we’re looking for a Senior Data Architect.

Position Overview

DataArt’s Data & Analytics Competence Center designs and implements modern data and analytics solutions for mid and large-sized organizations. We are looking for a Solution Architect who will join our rapidly growing team and provide Solution Architecture consulting services to our clients and delivery teams.

Operating remotely and in person in numerous R&D centers, Center of Competence drives innovations in data & big data that ensure rapid expansion of our domain and technical expertise and greater customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Drive direct communications with business stakeholders
• Elaborate on all technical aspects for the development team, justify any architectural decision
• Lead implementation of the solutions from establishing project requirements and goals to solution „go-live“
• Participate in the entire cycle of sales\pre-sales activities
• Lead solution architecture evaluation and assessment activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in a data engineering role or 5-10 completed projects
• Data Governance, Data Management background
• Experience with any cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP
• DWH/Data Platforms experience (Snowflake, Databricks)
• Knowledge of SQL and comfortable designing, writing and maintaining complex SQL queries
• Experience building data pipelines; ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Knowledge of data management fundamentals (data modeling, data quality, metadata management, data warehouse/lakes patterns, distributed systems)
• Spoken English
• Communication skills
• Sales / Pre-sales experience

Nice to Have

• Foundational knowledge of what sales engineering/consulting / pre-sales engineering roles are
• How Data and Analytics Competence sells and what is important in different types of sales
• Main types of value proposition in Data & Analytics sales
