    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement team and contribute to building and maintaining scalable, cloud-based infrastructures that support our dynamic business needs.

    As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain development tools and infrastructure to optimize our CI/CD processes, ensure seamless cloud deployments, and support our engineering teams. Your role will be critical in enhancing our system reliability, efficiency, and scalability, aligning with enterprise-wide standards, and fostering a culture of innovation.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain development tools and infrastructure for seamless software delivery
    • Partner with the Engineering Enablement function to improve and automate CI/CD processes across the portfolio, adhering to enterprise standards
    • Configure and deploy cloud-based solutions in AWS and Azure environments
    • Work closely with software engineers to ensure adherence to established development processes
    • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms
    • Recommend and implement strategies for continuous improvement in processes and technologies
    • Collaborate with delivery managers, product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
    • Contribute to a culture of innovation and embrace agile development practices
    • Actively embody and promote [Company Name]’s core values and culture in daily activities

     

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in creating automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
    • Expertise in designing, deploying, and configuring solutions in AWS or Azure cloud environments
    • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
    • Proficiency in automating tasks with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
    • AWS IAM and permissions management or CloudFormation experience
    • Strong skills in developing robust monitoring solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based applications
    • General problem-solving abilities with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
    • Attention to detail, data-driven mindset, and a commitment to delivering results
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
    • Experience gathering and leveraging metrics to enhance the SDLC
    • Familiarity with service-based and serverless architectures and their associated challenges
    • Experience using containerization tools such as Docker in managed environments (e.g., ECS, EKS, Fargate, or AKS)
