What you’ll do

Being a Lead Platform Engineer is your chance to join our exciting hub in Sofia – which means you’ll :

• Own platform health and engineering execution across our AWS-based backend.

• Set direction for CI/CD, automation, and quality practices, enabling teams to deliver safely and at pace.

• Provide technical leadership and coaching to backend teams, improving delivery predictability, time-to-value, and raising engineering standards across our UK and international markets.

Who you are

It’s your unique ingredients we’re interested in:

• Strong prior hands-on experience with AWS-based backend systems, and a clear understanding of how to design, run, and evolve them at scale.

• Deep knowledge of operating live production systems, including observability, alerting and incident response.

• A quality-first mindset, with practical experience of quality engineering practices, automation strategies, and shift-left approaches.

Location – Sofia – Hybrid

The role will be hybrid model with the expectation of being in the Sofia office 2-3 days per week as required. Some international travel may also be required occasionally to UK.
