Senior Software Engineer (.NET) – Sofia/Plovdiv

As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) in our International Business Solutions team.

The IBSol team supports our international locations, in order to serve customers, offer stable IT systems and processes and act as advocates for the international locations in the digital transformation.

Your responsibilities would consist of:

• Acting as subject matter expert on foreign unit core banking systems;
• Developing interfaces and applications to support and supplement foreign unit core banking systems;
• Partnering with offshore development partner on software development;
• Conducting quality control and code review on offshore development partner deliverables;
• Setting up and maintaining integrated test platform;
• Providing technical support and guidance during software releases;
• Documenting technical information and issues into knowledgebase articles;
• Providing 3rd level technical support.

The skills and experience we would like you to have:

• Professional experience in software development with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, WEB Forms, VB.NET Language;
• Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL);
• Good understanding of Windows services and multi-threaded applications;
• Prior experience with Razor + MVC, HTML 5, Bootstrap;
• Good knowledge of REST, SOAP & WEB APIs;
• Fluency in English;
• University degree in IT or relevant.
