As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey, and we are looking for a Python Developer in our Data Center Base Infrastructure team.

As a Python Developer at Commerzbank, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using Python. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Your tasks:

• Designing, developing, and maintaing efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Implementing and integrating user-facing components with server-side logic to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather technical and business requirements, and translate them into effective solutions.
• Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshooting, debuging, and optimizing applications to enhance performance and ensure reliability.
• Performing code reviews and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
• Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and integrate relevant advancements into development practices.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Python Developer in an enterprise environment, with a solid portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Python and its libraries and frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise database systems (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Competence in software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
