As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey, and we are looking for a Ansible Automation Platform Engineer in our Data Center Base Infrastructure team.

The Ansible Automation Platform DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat’s Ansible Automation Platform. This role requires a deep understanding of the best automation practices and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Ansible and a strong background in DevOps practices.

Your tasks:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat’s Ansible Automation Platform.
• Leveraging Ansible Automation Platform features, to manage and scale automation workflows across multiple environments.
• Developing, maintaing, and optimizing Ansible playbooks, roles, collections and modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management.
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as GitLab CI, or TeamCity.
• Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into deployment processes.
• Ensuring consistent and reproducible deployments by managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Ansible.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure to quickly identify and resolve issues, to ensure system stabilization, high availability and adequate performance.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and principles (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and system administration.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
