    Who are We Looking For?

    An experienced, talented, and driven Senior AWS Engineer

    What will you do?

    • Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure, and fault tolerant systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud fintech products
    • Support dockerized application components by integrating with AWS ECS/Fargate
    • Analyze applications in AWS to improve their performance
    • Passion for solving challenging issues
    • Promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve common goals
    • Examine data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems
    • Ability to work comfortably in environments serving business critical public facing systems and applications, including roll out/roll back of changes
    • Conduct Cost optimization reviews and action on findings

    Requirements

    • Demonstrated competency with key AWS services & serverless technologies: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda, X-RAY
    • Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking and security concepts
    • Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS
    • Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment
    • Support Development sourced initiatives
    • Support ISM function in reviewing security incidents and emerging threats
    • Supply evidence during internal/external audits /ex. ISO27001/SOC1/SOC2/
    • Document processes and systems as needed /ex. diagrams/

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Experience architecting systems/applications built on Amazon Web Services
    • Proficient in Linux operating systems and various security layers /ex. SELinux/
    • Experience with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines
    • Knowledge of Python/Perl/Bash scripting
    • AWS Certification
    • Advanced Apache, PHP, Nginx, PostgreSQL configuration and operational experience
    • Demonstrated background in architecture, design, development, delivery of distributed applications
