    Who are We Looking For?

    An experienced, talented, and driven Information Technology Security Manager.

    What will you do?

    The Information Technology Security Manager ensures that the risk to the organization’s information and security practices posed by a variety of cyber threats (cyber-attacks; theft or corruption from within; etc.) is minimized. The IT Security Manager ensures that when cyber-attacks or security breaches occur, these incidents are dealt with promptly and effectively and the chance of that incident recurring is minimized.

    Organizational Relationships

    The IT Security Manager Reports directly to the Group CIO. He/she works in conjunction with organizational functions/departments to ensure employees are aware of cyber-security issues, are trained in good cyber-security practices, and are practicing safe/secure data collection, data transfers and storage, and use of social media, mobile devices, and apps, among others.

    This is a truly exciting role, working across a wide range of systems, leveraging the very latest technologies

    What your day-to-day responsibilities going to be?

    • Ensure successful implementation, compliance and maintenance of the defined Information Security standards and policies
    • Researches and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption
    • Maintains ongoing communication to understand what each business is doing as it relates to IT security and how that effort impacts the relevant organization
    • Ability to influence and communicate effectively to IT leadership
    • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, oversees the implementation of the change and measures the level of improvement
    • Makes recommendations surrounding the architecture and vendor solution of web application firewalls, intrusion prevention (IPS) and detection (IDS) systems
    • Manage and participate in the testing of security controls and the accomplishment of service level agreements associated with security administration tasks
    • Capture prioritize and structure the business demands and requirements to create a multi-year strategy and roadmap.
    • Conduct vulnerability analysis and threat assessment
    • Monitor and remediate technology risks
    • Monitor Mobile Device Security (iOS, Android, Blackberry)
    • Manage IDS/IPS, DLP, NAC, SIEM, and other Info Sec applications


    • Strong analytical skills and good orientation and understanding of business processes and requirements.
    • Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and draw conclusions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly motivated-Self-organized and result oriented
    • Security Incident and Event Management Solutions
    • Single Sign On and Two Factor Authentication Technologies
    • Relevant voice/data network and support technology and protocols at a basic level (e.g., TCP/IP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP and subnetting)
    • Administration and support of servers, applications and Wide Area Network/Local Area Network (WAN/LAN) network technologies and related protocols
    • Troubleshooting to provide timely fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of complex service and system issues
    • University degree in Engineering or computer science

    Advantageous skills:

    • A keen understanding of how response capabilities are highly critical for managing enterprise risk
    • Ability to communicate technical security objectives orally and in writing to a variety of audiences
    • Ability to design, evaluate and document process improvements when conducting lessons learned exercises
    • At least 5 years of progressive working experience in Information Security or a related discipline such as Infrastructure security or Network security
    • Have experience investigating and leading a Cyber Incident Response team in the process of investigating malware, intrusion, unauthorized use, and data breach
    • Knowledge of core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
    • CISSP or other security certifications such as ones from GIAC
    • Security certification CISSP, CISA, CISM is a plus
