Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.

We are looking for a motivated Business Analyst Intern with a passion for data and analytics to join our team. This internship is ideal for a current student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and business strategy. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work alongside our data and business teams to analyze datasets, identify trends, and provide insights that support our strategic decision-making processes.

Hybrid or On site model of working!

The position is temporary (4 – 6 months)!

Working shift: Monday – Friday, either 10:00 AM – 18:30 PM or 12:00 PM – 20:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources to help understand business performance.
• Trend & Gap Identification: Help identify patterns, trends, and gaps within the data to provide actionable insights.
• Report Generation: Support the creation of reports and visualizations to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with different departments to understand data needs and provide basic analytical support.
• Data Integrity: Assist in data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of data for analysis.
• Learning & Development: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop skills in data analysis tools and techniques.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of data analysis tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• A passion for data and a curiosity to understand what the data reveals about the business
• Good communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
• Willingness to learn new tools and concepts
• Excellent English is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with or an interest in learning data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with SQL or basic programming concepts
• Any previous coursework or projects in data analysis or business analytics
