QA Engineer

***This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria with hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***

We’re looking for someone with a solid interest in software testing and automation, ideally with some experience in Python and visual testing tools. You don’t need to check every box — we’re happy to train the right candidate who’s motivated to grow in this space.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development and automation of test cases for both UI and backend systems.
• Helping improve test coverage and reliability across projects.
• Collaborating with developers and QA to identify and solve issues early.
• Learning about DCC/CAD pipelines and how they interact with our software tools.

• Previous QA or SDET work experience
• Demonstrated experience using Python (you’ll be given a small test task to verify)
• Ability to define test strategies, write detailed test plans and test cases, investigate failures and provide clear, actionable bug reports
• Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar for issue tracking and test documentation

Advantages:

• Experience using SikuliX, OpenCV, or other image-based/UI testing tools.
• Familiarity with VFX tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini) or AEC CAD platforms (e.g., Revit, Rhino 3D, Sketchup), common workflows and file formats used in content creation or architectural/engineering design
• Experience testing plug-ins or integrations within aforementioned environments.
• Knowledge of scripting languages used in DCCs (e.g., MEL, MaxScript, Python APIs for Maya or Blender).
• Exposure to cross-platform development and testing (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
