Currently we are looking for System Administrator to join our team. The position covers a wide range of technology administration with the support of the external IT vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Diagnoses, resolves or routes to external IT vendor any hardware, software, networking and system issues raised via the task management software
• Works closely with external IT support vendor for installation, configuration and deployment of networks, workstations, servers, including hardware, system software, and applications;
• Ensures data is stored securely and backed up regularly;
• Replaces and upgrades defective or outdated components when necessary;
• Works closely with the relevant leadership team to set best practices in IT management and support
• Responsible for access management and account creation;
• Oversee system performance and report generation to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely;
• Researches and recommends new approaches for systems improvement as well as upcoming products and industry standards
• Documents any processes which employees need to follow
• Creates and maintains up-to-date infrastructure documentations (incl. network, hardware components and applications);
• Secures system integrity from any breaches or viruses and play an essential role in risk-mitigation planning, including creating backup plans, safeguards for data, user security policies, and identity management with the support of external IT support vendor

Required skills:

• Good understanding of server and network administration in order to be able to identify the issues and engage with the external IT support vendor where applicable;
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and services, VLAN, DNS, static routing, OSPF, NAT, DHCP;
• Experience with Windows server administration;
• Experience with Linux server administration – patching, upgrading, troubleshooting (Ubuntu/Debian);
• Аpache, nginx
• Experience with Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira etc.);
• Ability to multitask and communicate with employees across the wider organisation as well as external vendors
• Good verbal and written English language skills

Understanding of the following technologies is considered a strong advantage:

• Experience with VMWare vSphere/ESXi (Installing, Configuring, Upgrading);
• Experience with storage vendors/OS like HP MSA, PureStorage, FreeNAS;
• Experience with Juniper & Cisco routers and switches will be considered a strong advantage;
