We are looking for the right person for the following vacancy: SOFTWARE/SYSTEM ENGINEERING PRODUCT QUALITY

Job Description

As an expert for the product quality, the EPQ conveys to the project/development participants the ability for planning, application and tracking the measures of preventive quality-assurance in the development projects and activities. You will be responsible for auditing the project teams in following the standards and quality strategies defined. Within a team of several quality engineers, you will ensure the quality throughout all development steps:

• Perform regular quality checks in order to detect, avoid and escalate risks with reference to product quality.
• The EPQ conducts an independent, objective and facts-based evaluation of the achieved product maturity with regard to the product and the process, reporting to the independent Quality Organization.
• Checking for complying with the relevant requirements (legal, automotive standards, Bosch-internal) including SW release approvals.
• Interface to and cooperation with other functions internally and at business divisions (focus: quality gates, lessons learned, problem solving and FMEA)
• Self organizing and proactive implementation of internal or external auditing activities.

Qualifications:

• Technical studies with quality assurance, electrical or software engineering specialization
• >2 year professional experience in quality management or software development for automotive engineering
• Experiences with software development processes and process improvement techniques. Project planning, tracking and risk management.
• Good coaching and cooperating skills. Ability to coordinate and communicate with several teams simultaneously.
• English language skills proficiency
• Additional advantage would be: Process auditor qualification, Automotive V-cycle knowledge, ASPICE knowledge, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
