We are looking for the right person for the following vacancy:

MODEL BASED ENGINEER

Job Description

• Develop innovative models for real-time automotive control units, in specific automotive software functions for Bosch ECUs.
• Analyze, discuss and clarify requirements in a very close cooperation with our customers
• Design, define and implement the best and most robust functionality, using Matlab/Simulink, following a model based software development approach
• Module testing and software integration testing
• Documentation of software components
• Active participation and responsibility in each phase of the project, from start to production
• Be part of advanced Research and Development activities in a multicultural environment

Qualifications

• University degree in mechatronics, computer science, automation, electronics, physics, or comparable
• 1+ year professional experience in a model based SW development using Matlab/Simulink()
• 1+year professional experience with embedded software development (e.g. C programming language)
• Proactive and adaptable to new development environment
• Self-motivated and responsible way of working
• Advanced English
• Availability for travelling abroad

Considered as a plus

• Targetlink and code generation experience
• UML Knowledge
• Experience with IBM Rational Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect
• Good knowledge of automotive systems and functional concepts (e.g. powertrain, driver assistant systems)
• General/Specific AUTOSAR knowledge
