We are looking for the right person for the following vacancy:

Embedded Developer for Image Signal Processing

Job Description

As a part of our engineering teams, you will research, design, develop, implement and verify complex embedded software for camera systems (but not only) – including Camera Image Signal Processor (ISP), 3A (AWB, AEC, AF), image quality, device drivers, features, logic design, modeling, and design verification. You will ensure image quality, systems performance and ISP requirements are met.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and development of features for image sensor, peripheral devices, and image processing pipeline of different SoCs, test & calibration, and support through the full system lifecycle.
• Integrate, evolve and improve 3rd party or already existing solutions.
• Write software to verify the correct operation of hardware.
• Collaborate with team members and other camera related teams throughout the design cycle on the design, development, and optimization of camera systems, hardware, and/or software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug issues.
• Work to address customer/product requirements in functionality and results; understand impact of task work on customer needs.
• Write clear and detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users and/or customers to use or implement output

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development on bare metal, RTOS or Unix environment
• Excellent knowledge in C programming language, additionally knowledge in C++ or Python would be considered as a plus
• 2+ years of experience in Image Signal Processing design, development, implementation, and verification.
• Experience with various sensor and bus interfaces MIPI CSI-2 and I2C
• Experience with video or image signal processing hardware pipelines (e.g. raw video processing).
• Hands-on experience with third party library / SDK integration
• Knowledge of video formats and color spaces.

Desirable:

• Experience in kernel modules development and low-level hardware drivers for Android/Linux/QNX
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience in Automotive or Aviation System/Software Development.
