We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Bulgaria and play a key role in shaping modern end-to-end banking solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams to turn complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes that power high-quality digital banking experiences.

This is you

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in agile delivery teams.
• Strong, hands-on experience in the banking/fintech domain (digital channels, corporate/retail banking processes, payments, entitlements/roles, approvals, limits, etc).
• Strong capability to write clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of modern digital solutions: web applications, RESTful APIs, and data modeling basics.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with process modeling and structured documentation
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps (or equivalent) and working in CI/CD-oriented delivery environments is a plus
• Strong motivation to use AI assistants to improve productivity and analysis quality
• Bulgarian language is a must

This is your role

• Work with business stakeholders and delivery teams (PO, UX, Front-End/Back-End, QA, Architects) to shape end-to-end banking journeys and solution capabilities.
• Lead requirements elicitation (workshops, interviews, process walkthroughs), identify corner cases, and ensure alignment across business and IT.
• Analyze and document banking processes and rules (e.g., customer onboarding, entitlements, approvals, payments, statements, limits, notifications), including exception handling and audit needs.
• Produce high-quality epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring requirements are unambiguous, testable, and implementation-ready.
• Define requirements for integrations and APIs (REST semantics, data models, error handling, versioning) in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Capture and manage non-functional requirements like performance on peak days, scalability, security constraints, logging/audit traceability, and compliance-driven requirements.
• Support delivery execution: backlog refinement, sprint planning readiness, UAT preparation/support, defect triage, and ongoing scope clarification.
• Use AI-assisted tools pragmatically for analysis and documentation (e.g., structuring requirements, generating user scenarios, consistency checks), with disciplined review and compliance with internal policies.
