Currently we are looking for a:

Senior PHP Developer 

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business needs in order to implement new features in our products;
• Develop new functionalities, modules and/or applications;
• Improve existing functionalities;
• Write technical specifications;
• Confer with management or technical lead(s) to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions;
• Communicate questions, concerns, status and provide recommendations to managers or technical lead(s);
• Correct problems uncovered by testing or refer problems to appropriate personnel;
• Write well-structured and maintainable code in line with company and industry standards;
• Identify and recommend quality improvements to our development processes,
• methodology and documentation;
• Properly document and test all development in and out of code;

Requirements:

• In-depth experience with PHP OOP (3+ years);
• PHP MVC frameworks such as Zend Framework, Symfony, CakePHP 3, Laravel and/or others;
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills;
• Solid JavaScript knowledge (ES6 is an advantage);
• Good MySQL experience;
• Linux server stack and OS inner-workings (optional but you must want to learn);
• Experience with building and consuming web services and APIs (HTTP APIs, SOAP,
• JSONAPI, REST, etc.);
• Experience with XML handling, XSLT, WSDLs and JSON;
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases, strong analytical skills;

Advantages:

• Good knowledge of PHP dev standards and basic DevOps;
• Experience in the field of insurance, financial and/or accounting systems is a strong advantage;
• MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis and/or RabbitMQ knowledge;
• PHPUnit / Codeception / PHPSpec / Behat experience;
