Georgi Lakovski is looking for a new team member.

Your daily routine would include:

• Implement, configure, and maintain IP/MPLS Internet backbone and edge network infrastructures.
• Participate in complex, international ISP and Internet service delivery projects.
• Conduct fault isolation, troubleshooting, and performance analysis across IP/MPLS and Internet transit/peering environments.
• Perform software and hardware upgrades on Cisco and Nokia equipment.
• Coordinate operational tasks with cross-functional teams, field engineers, and customers.
• Plan and execute network migrations, capacity upgrades, and routing optimizations.
• Monitor and analyze traffic using NetFlow/cFlow/IPFIX and other telemetry sources.
• Assist in managing and maintaining Internet routing resources (RIPE database objects, route objects, ROAs, IRR entries, etc.).
• Support the operation of DDoS detection and mitigation systems (Arbor, Radware, or similar).

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with IP/MPLS or ISP networks.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Nokia, and/or Juniper service provider platforms.
• Certifications or equivalent knowledge level: CCNA, CCNP, Nokia NRS, or similar.
• Practical experience with key service provider protocols/technologies: ( Layer 2/3 switching ; OSPF, IS-IS, BGP ; MPLS, MPLS-TE; L3VPN, VPLS, EoMPLS; EVPN )
• Experience with traffic analysis tools: NetFlow, cFlow, sFlow, IPFIX.
• Familiarity with Internet ecosystem components such as: (RIPE NCC resources (ASN, IPv4/IPv6 allocations, RPKI/ROA management) ; Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) ; Peering IRR databases and routing security and transit fundamentals ;
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of service provider network architecture, Internet routing, and global Internet operations.
• Experience with DDoS detection and mitigation platforms (Arbor APS/TMS, Radware DefensePro, etc.).
• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible, Perl).
• Network documentation using Microsoft Visio or Dia.
• German language proficiency (B1 or higher).
