Role Overview:

Billing Testing Specialist focused on validating billing systems through manual and automated testing, identifying defects, supporting test automation initiatives, and contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-quality software.

Role insights:

• Design and implement automated test cases and test plans for Billing Applications.
• Maintain and improve existing automation suites with guidance from senior team members.
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review and understand requirements and technical documentation.
• Plan and execute test scenarios and test cases across functional areas.
• Perform performance, operational, and serviceability testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Support troubleshooting of system and customer-related issues.
• Provide feedback to improve functionality and system quality.
• Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to improvement of testing processes and automation.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where needed.

What makes you unique:

• First experience in software testing, including test execution and basic test design.
• Familiarity with test management and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments for testing activities.
• Initial experience with test automation using Java or Python is a plus.
• Understanding of API and integration testing (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Structured and reliable way of working with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and interest in improving testing processes and automation.
